New Features across the Conquest 4 Platform

Request details available when relating it to an Action

Conquest users can view Service Request details when relating a request to an Action. By displaying request information during the selection process, Conquest users can quickly identify the appropriate request. This reduces the risk of incorrect associations and allows Conquest users to quickly identify the related Request.

Estimated Quantity auto populated on the standard Action form

The Estimated Quantity field on the Action form is automatically populated using the value entered in the Defect's Quantity of Material field. This is applied when a standard Defect with a default standard Action is created. Previously, Conquest users had to open the automatically created standard Action and manually enter this information. This enhancement reduces manual data entry and helps ensure the Estimated Quantity is populated accurately from the outset.

Delete Request Permission

A new system setting allows Conquest administrators to restrict the ability to delete Service Requests. When enabled, Conquest users will no longer be able to delete Service Requests, helping to prevent accidental deletions. This improves data security, reduces the risk of unintended data loss, and ensures that only authorised Conquest users (administrators) can perform this action.

Defect Inspection History

We have implemented an option to create inspection history for Defects. When editing the inspection date on an existing defect, Conquest users will receive a message asking if they want to edit the existing inspection date or create a new inspection and move the existing one to the inspection history. This function gives Conquest users the ability to reinspect defects and creates an inspection history that shows how the defect has progressed.

Knowledge Base - Standard Action form configuration

Conquest Administrators can configure the tabs, sections, sub-sections and fields that are displayed on standard Action forms. By selecting the tabs, sections and fields relevant to that specific Standard Action, Conquest administrators can tailor the forms to better suit their workflows and operational requirements. This enhancement gives Conquest administrators greater control over form design and improves the Conquest users experience by displaying only the information relevant to each standard form, reducing unnecessary scrolling and allowing for easier use when performing in-field activities.

Knowledge Base - Standard Inspection Interval Tab

The ability to set an interval or frequency for a standard inspection within Conquest 4 is now available. Conquest administrators can now set inspection frequency on the Standard Inspection form in the knowledge base. This removes the need to use Conquest 3 to setup inspection frequencies.

Asset View – Tasks menu

Another important feature has migrated from Conquest 3 to Conquest 4. New options are now available in an Asset View’s Task menu, it allows Conquest administrators to Move, Copy, Delete or Export Assets. Conquest administrators can select multiple assets from an Asset View and then perform any of the previously mentioned tasks by selecting the appropriate option on the Tasks menu. This new addition reduces the need for Conquest administrators to use Conquest 3 to perform these tasks.

Assignment History

The Assignment History option has been added to the Action Tasks menu. Selecting the Assignment History option, Conquest users can see a list of all Organisation Units that have been assigned to a Request/Action, over time.

Other minor features and fixes

  • An error message is displayed when attempting to upload a document with unsupported characters in its file name
  • Resolved an issue causing Work Order to be wrongly formatted
  • Resolved time out error when loading query hierarchy for Conquest administrators
  • Resolved a bug that prevented users from creating new Action Category when no other records are available
  • Resolved a bug that was preventing the search bar from remembering a Conquest user’s last searched field
  • Conquest Administrators can safely update local accounts from the Accounts & Permissions menu without affecting users' saved favourites, views, filters, or other personal settings
  • Added time information on imports. Once the import is completed the system will show date and time of the import
  • This release features many bug fixes and general performance improvements across the platform
