Early Pay Day gives you access to your eligible direct deposits up to two business days early.
There's no enrollment required and no fee – Early Pay Day is included with eligible direct deposits.
Once we receive information about your incoming direct deposit from your payor, typically your employer, we may make the funds available for your use up to two business days earlier than your scheduled pay date.
Step 1.
Use our pre-filled form
Use our Wells Fargo Mobile® app or sign on to create your customized Direct Deposit guide.
- Select the account you'd like your deposits to go to, and we'll pre-fill the form with your routing number, account number, and account type.
You can also download a blank Direct Deposit/Automatic Payments Set-Up Guide (PDF) and fill in the information yourself.
Step 2.
Provide the information on the completed form to the company or agency that pays you
Your payor may ask you to complete their own form in order to process your request.
Step 3.
Monitor your account
It may be one or two pay or benefit periods before Direct Deposit goes into effect.
Signing up for automatic alerts will notify you when a direct deposit is available in your account. Choose how you want to receive alerts — email, text message, or push notification to your phone. You can change your preferences anytime.

Early Pay Day FAQs
With Early Pay Day, the Bank may make certain direct deposits available to you one to two business days before we receive the funds from the payor, which is typically your employer. Early Pay Day is not guaranteed, may vary between pay periods, and we may stop providing it at any time without advance notice to you. Our ability to provide early access to funds may be limited by many factors, such as when we receive notice of payment from your payor. It is always your obligation to verify that the funds are available in your account before spending them. Available for personal accounts only. See our Deposit Account Agreement for more details.
Not all direct deposits are eligible for Early Pay Day. Eligible direct deposits are generally limited to electronic direct deposits such as your payroll, pension, and government benefit payments that are made through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network. Most other deposits or credits to your account, such as deposits of funds from person-to-person payments services (e.g., Zelle®, Venmo, or PayPal transfers), check or mobile deposits, instant payments processed through the RTP® network or FedNowSM service, and other online transfers are not eligible for Early Pay Day.
Sign-up may be required. Availability may be affected by your mobile carrier's coverage area. Your mobile carrier's message and data rates may apply.
